 CPAP mask cushions are replacement seals for your mask system. These cushions are made from materials like silicone, gel, foam, and memory foam. They are available in nasal, nasal pillow, and full face styles. CPAP mask cushion seals should be cleaned daily to remove facial oils that can cause mask leak. Discoloration or uncontrolled mask leaks are a sign you need to replace your cushion with a new one. It is recommended to replace your CPAP mask cushion every 3-6 months. The oils from our skin break down the cushions over time. An old cushion becomes less effective; allowing more leaks or becoming uncomfortable.
